Big Bear Firepits Inc. was established in the fall of 2008, as John Grant and his neighbors sat and enjoyed the warmth of a fire contained within an old mesh-walled firepit. They began to discuss how nice it would be to share this cozy feeling with others and brainstormed some ideas over a potluck dinner and a brew or two. They shared their ideas with a welder, purchased some materials, and began contructing the first six "Big Bear" firepits.

Soon, they had orders for a variety of sizes, with various options and a wide array of custom cut-outs. Business grew and they had to incorporate; Thus, the beginning of a product of high quality and durability which you can safely enjoy and share for many years to come with all your family, friends, and neighbors.
